Tallahassee Ballet Professional Audition

The Tallahassee Ballet is seeking male and female dancers for the 2027-2028 Season. Salaried and stipend positions are available. Interested dancers should have strong ballet technique and be comfortable with classical, contemporary, and pas de deux work. Currently, we can only employ artists who are U.S. citizens or hold a valid work permit. Dancer benefits include physical therapy, discounted chiropractic services, and choreographic opportunities. Members of the Professional company are also given the opportunity to teach in The Tallahassee Ballet School and DanceChance, TTB’s Community Engagement/Enrichment after-school program. Interested Dancers should submit the materials listed before taking any further steps to register to audition. Once we receive them, we will review the materials, and the artistic team will email you guidance on attending an open audition or scheduling an audition during company class. The Tallahassee Ballet is a regional, nonprofit dance company featuring a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary ballet performed by both professional and emerging professional dancers. The Tallahassee Ballet promotes appreciation of the dance arts through annual productions, education, and community outreach. The Tallahassee Ballet Season: Mid-August 2027 (Date TBD) – Mid-May 2028. Four Mainstage Performance Season: An Evening of Music and Dance – September/October 2027; The Nutcracker – December 2027; Intimate – February 2028; TBA – May 2028. Additional performances are held throughout the year at community events. Open Company Auditions will be held at the Tallahassee Ballet Studios: Friday, January 29 and Friday, February 19, 2027 (10:00-11:45am), Studio will open at 9am. The audition will include class, repertoire, and time for questions with the Artistic Staff. Company class auditions may also be scheduled after pre-screening.
