Norrdans is an international dance company based in Northern Sweden, existing within the field of contemporary dance and innovative choreography. Located in Härnösand (SE) our international ensemble regularly embarks on regional, national and international tours. We are committed to fostering creativity and kinetic, energising dance works. The younger audience is a priority. Join Our Ensemble for the 27/28 Season. We are seeking driven, experienced, and diverse dance artists to join our ensemble for the 27/28 season. Ideal candidates will have strong contemporary techniques, expertise in improvisation as a performance and creation tool, a well of artistic potential, coupled with strong musicality, and vocal practices are a plus. We are particularly interested in dance artists who: -Are enthusiastic about exploring different creative processes and aesthetics. -Can adapt to and thrive within our unique artistic environment. -Are resilient and ready to embrace the northern climate. Requirements: Applicants to the ensemble must have a minimum of three years of professional experience. Dance Students: If you’re a dance student seeking an apprenticeship, apply here. Audition Details: The audition will take place in Stockholm, at Dansalliansen’s studios, Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st. Audition by invitation only. The audition will include dance class, repertoire, vocals/text, improvisation and task-based score work. Selected candidates will be interviewed in an online meeting via Teams between February 1st – 5th 2027. Application deadline Wednesday, November 11th 23:59.
