About this audition
Danstheater AYA and artistic director Ryan Djojokarso are looking for strong female dancers / performers who can express themselves convincingly both physically and through acting. It concerns two different roles: for a new 12+ co-production and an 8+ revival performance. The audition and call back take place on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2026 in the Studio of AYA in Amsterdam. AYA makes idiosyncratic performances for young audiences. Performances with an exciting mix of contemporary dance forms, acting, singing and live music from various (youth) cultures. Theatre that does not let you go and with the necessary humour. Artistic director Ryan Djojokarso likes to work interdisciplinary. The 12+ performance is a collaboration with a theatre company. The 8+ performance is a collaboration with a music company.
