Alberta Ballet Auditions

Alberta Ballet and Artistic Director Francesco Ventriglia are seeking male and female identifying dancers. We are searching for highly skilled artists with strong classical technique, versatility in contemporary work and experience in partnering. For the first time, Alberta Ballet is proud to partner with The National Ballet of Canada to hold both companies’ annual auditions under one roof. Over one weekend at The National Ballet of Canada’s studios in Toronto, the two companies will hold separate auditions so dancers can be considered for both organizations. The Walter Carsen Centre for The National Ballet of Canada, 470 Queens Quay West. Registration: 9:30 a.m. Audition: 10 a.m. *Selected dancers will present their prepared variations following class. Additionally, Alberta Ballet will be holding an audition at our company studios in Calgary in March. Calgary, Alberta: March 13, 2027. Alberta Ballet Company Studios, 141 18 Ave SW, Calgary, AB. Registration: 9:30 a.m. Audition: 10 a.m. *Selected dancers will present their prepared variations following class. Requirements: Strong foundation in classical ballet technique. Proficiency in both pas de deux work and contemporary repertoire. Professional performance experience is required. Please submit: CV/Resume, Headshot, Two dance photos, Link to a recent video with excerpts of classwork, one classical variation and one contemporary solo.
